Our favorite toy- R2-AL

My husband and I are huge self proclaimed Star Wars nerds (pictured in our costumes).
Last year, my husband and I undertook a giant project. We started building our very own custom R2 unit. I am excited to say that R2-AL is nearing completion. His center leg is a peg leg right now. We still need feet covers, but the dome motor came in, so now his dome rotates. We just have to complete the legs and give it some test drives. Yes, it is to scale. It has its own sound system to make all the sounds that R2 would make.
