Blogging Discouragment

I am new to blogging, its kind of obvious. I have only been doing it a few months, but I am getting really discouraged with it. I feel like I need to be getting more readers, I just don't know how. I know it takes time, I am just impatient. I want to have an exciting blog with giveaways and parties stuff like blogs with larger fan bases.
I lost 2 fans off of Facebook today. I guess I am just having a bad day, but I took it kind of personally. Anybody else feel this way some times? I really could use some advice

  1. Don't be discouraged! You are doing great! Feel free to email me if you need any tips (not like an expert or anything) I just like to talk :)

You can also come join my NING group which is really more for bloggers who want to get into doing product reviews but you're totally wecome to join! www.pitchit.ning.com

  2. Sometimes it feels like blogging is like Middle School again :(

If you're not already doing this I would suggest linking your posts up to other bloggers posts. The blog The Grocery Cart Challenge every week has a recipe link up. It also has link to share your shopping trips once a week-as does thethriftymama.com and couponingtodisney.com. On days when I link my blog up I see significant increase in traffic.

Just keep up what you're doing and soon the readers will follow :)

  3. I agree with the previous posts. I found your site through a linkup through Couponing to Disney...and found Kristin's through ANOTHER site link up.

**But I'm also curious who won your giveaway from Thursday. So I would make sure to stay up on those types of things to keep readers coming back to check and excited to win more.

  4. Thanks for the advice everyone. I really appreciate it!

I made a post for the giveaway winner. I had actually posted it on Facebook. Sometimes I neglect the blog and post more on facebook, because I have more fans there. I need to break that and post the same information on both.
