Cake Decorating Class

I finally broke down and signed up for a Wilton Cake decorating class at my local Hobby Lobby.   This is something that I have been wanting to do for years.  I had entered a cake competition back in April and that was my inspiration for taking the class  

My first class was on Memorial Day.    It was so much fun!!  Of course they just ease you into it, starting with making stars.   So ever since then, I have practicing making frosting stars.   After a few attempts on the practice boards, I started decorating the sugar cookies I brought to class with me.   

This next class, I will be baking a cake, making my own frosting, and decorating it!!   I am looking forward to it.
